Do we use chemicals when we manufacture our bags?

In cutting and sewing, no, we do not use chemicals. We do however, use non-metallic, low-impact dyes when we dye fabric.

Is the yarn you use to sew the bags also organic?

No, it is not organic. We use a poly/cotton blend thread as it provides a much longer-lasting, durable product.

Are there any costs associated with returning items?

Yes. A restocking charge of 20% plus both to and from freight charges when returns are undamaged.

What exactly is organic cotton?

Organic cotton is cotton that is grown without pesticides from plants which are not genetically modified. Did you know that after tobacco, cotton is the world's second most heavily sprayed crop. About 1/3 of a pound of pesticides are used to grow the regular cotton for a single cotton T-shirt. Our organic cotton plants are 100% free of pesticides and are not genetically modified.
